Crappy Catholic image

Catholic. Clumsy.
Still Showing Up... Most Days.

Welcome to The Crappy Catholic — where we trip over our own halos, laugh at our spiritual faceplants, and try (key word: try) to live this Catholic thing without pretending we’ve got it all figured out. Podcasts, videos, stories, merch — basically all the Catholic joy, minus the plastic smiles.

Pick your flavor of Catholic chaos

Look, I don’t have all the answers. But I’ve got a podcast, a blog, and some merch. That’s basically the Catholic trifecta, right?

Podcast

Think Catholic talk radio… if the host kept tripping over his own theology and laughing about it. Honest, messy, and occasionally too much caffeine.

Blog

Where my Catholic guilt meets my keyboard. Expect reflections, sarcasm, and the kind of hot takes that make saints roll their eyes.

Store

Because nothing says ‘joyful Catholic witness’ like a sarcastic coffee mug. Wear your dysfunction like a badge of honor.

So… Who’s the Crappy Catholic?

Hi, I’m Mark — professional overthinker, part-time pew warmer, and full-time Catholic who manages to mess up daily… and yet somehow, God hasn’t fired me. (Seriously, the job security in Catholicism is incredible.)

I started The Crappy Catholic because I got tired of pretending faith is neat, tidy, and Instagram-worthy. It’s not. It’s messy, awkward, hilarious, and occasionally smells like incense mixed with bad coffee.

Around here, joy and sarcasm are spiritual gifts. I stumble a lot, complain too much, and occasionally forget which Mystery we’re on during the Rosary — but hey, God still shows up. And so do I.

If you’re looking for a perfect Catholic… keep scrolling, because you’re not gonna find him here. But if you’re into laughter, honesty, and the occasional holy trainwreck — welcome home.
